Joy Cooper was arrested last Thursday for multiple financial violations that happened more than five years ago, some of the charges being money laundering, official misconduct, and more. Her bond was set at $12,000 after turning herself in.

Joy Cooper's problem is that she now has a record of being arrested for four charges of financial violations.

  1. I think you did a good job in finding a list of articles that cover many different topics. You also did a good job in summarizing the contents of the articles, identifying the problems, and pointing out who had the problem. Some of the subjects of these articles are crazy to hear, like the underage alcohol bust and the dirtiness of the Carnival Cruise Line ships.

  2. Overall, I liked the opportunities you chose, and appreciated how they spanned a range of topics. I read about your 2nd opportunity during my research for this assignment. It's too bad they're closing their Miami space, but at least CIFO still has a means of showing their art, just not in Miami. I also did a similar opportunity to your 3rd one. Mine was on Alachua County worrying about the decrease in vaccinations resulting in flu outbreak, and I think your 3rd opportunity can show justification for their worries.
